Quite often you may stumble with the issue of how or where to get pictures or photos to illustrate the posts you’re going to publish.

We all know that posts with pictures are getting better reactions, so the need for your to post with photos is almost an axiom, unless social networks change something in their algorithms.

However getting a designer to draw up a pic might be a costly endeavour. Shooting a photo in a professional studio and with pro models, my God, that is going to be expensive! It might not even cause your eyebrow to rise if you’re working for a big brand, but most of us are not. However, there are solutions even for the leanest of the budgets.

First of all, you can buy professional stock photos. There are plenty of offers, from iStock and Shutterstock to whatever. We found out about this one – depositphotos.com – and we’re using it for our needs like 99% of the time. Very inexpensive, starting from $1 per image and the price per image goes down if you buy in bigger volumes.

Even if $1 per pic is quite a lot for you, there are free photo stock sites around too. They’re free (either totally or partially), the only problem with them is that they may fail you if you’re looking for very specific picture which just might not be in their collection.
